Here is the information you will need.

Visitation will be at Langeland Family Funeral Home
Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street, Kalamazoo
from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM tomorrow (Sunday 9/26/2010).
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Monday at Zion Lutheran Church, 2122 Bronson Blvd, Kalamazoo.

It saddens me to to tell you that David passed away this morning. Please be praying for Denise and their family during this difficult time. We will let you know about funeral arrangements as soon as we hear something.
David was such an asset to MTPPA and photographers all around. He was such a kind hearted, helpful man and he will be terribly missed. Our heart goes out to their family.

This is an urgent prayer request! Please pray for David Boyce. He is in ICU in critical condition. Please pray this specifically, that the immunuglobulins they are giving him works.
This medicine will fight his infection that his body cannot fight by itself. Also prayer for his family and especially his wife Denise. We love you guys so much and are praying!

I wanted to give you a little recap of Chris Routt’s program for those of you who missed it. Let me just say that Chris is an exceptional guy. He wanted to take into account every level of photographer that was at his program and make sure he had something to offer each of them. He gave us inspiration, marketing ideas, background ideas, studio tips, lighting techniques and even a few movie breaks. He talked about SPA and how they have helped him grow as a photographer and a business. It is so important to find other photographers to encourage you and stretch your skills. I know I have a few photography friends that push me to outdo myself every time I talk to them. It’s so important to have that encouragement.
Another source that he talked about is Fstoppers.com This site is full of inspiration! They have compiled tons of Behind the Scenes photo shoots that are great! You will get completely caught up in this site I promise. There is so much to learn! I have been in this business for 10 years, and sometimes I get stuck in a rut…do you? The videos on here get my wheels turning and make me want to learn something new. Which is so exciting! Check out the iphone video…I think this video will not only make you laugh but show you that it’s not about your equipment…it’s how you use it!
Overall, I thought Chris had a great program and from what I heard from all of you…you agree!
