Carrie Stadelman returns to the MTPPA forum for our April event! We know you love photography. Do you like pets? Your community? Chocolate? You'll love Carrie and her program, Puppy Love - Finding Ways to Give Back in Your Business.
Do you want to give back in your business but at times have limited funds? As business guru Lori Nordstrom has always said, “You have to make more to give more”. But sometimes being a solopreneur and artist you think, “I don’t make much more for my family, let alone donate a bunch." Carrie is going to walk you thru the way she started to give back to a cause very dear to her, her local humane society, which helped them raise $30,000 just this year. Not only did Carrie use this as a way to help raise much more funds than she could give on her own, she used it as a way to bring income into her business during a slow season and connect with more people. She'll takes us through each step of her process in building a fundraiser, things to consider when working with a non-profit, and how to showcase your own business, make money, and get referrals.
Carrie is a portrait photographer in Jackson, MI, where she has her business, Freeland Photos (Facebook: Freeland Photography). She's a certified professional photographer, who has also earned the Master of Photography Degree from Professional Photographers of America, and a former President of MTPPA. She has more energy than most people you meet (and it's not just because of her love of coffee!), and shares that with others, in her family life, thriving studio, personal projects, community, and very soon, again with us.
