Are you stuck in a rut?
Do you feel like your studio doesn’t have a cohesive brand, and that your online identity is made up of puzzle pieces thatdon’t quite fit together? Are you unsure of how to connect with prospects and clients online?
Betsy Finn has been there, done that, many times over the years. With the ever changing dynamics of social sites, blogs, and websites, it’s necessary to be fluid and flexible in how you approach your brand’s online identity. You need to develop a marketing strategy that works for YOU.. It may feel like a struggle to get “up to speed” when things change so quickly. Betsy will help you with tips and techniques for refining and focusing your brand so you can have a unified presence everywhere you promote yourself (and your studio). There’s no one-size-fits-all solution, so Betsy will cover a variety of approaches so you can find the plan that works best for you and your studio. We’ll discuss tactics for blogging, posting on various social media, updating your website, and presenting yourself (the photographer) as part of your studio’s brand. Come ready to learn. Leave prepared to use your limited time intentionally and effectively to develop and find the best plan for YOU.
Betsy Finn, M.Photog.Cr., has been an educator and contributing writer for over a decade. Her portrait studio, Betsy’s Photography, is located in Southeast Michigan. Betsy developed a knack for working on websites when she set out to design her own from scratch in 2005. Since then, she's continued to learn and adapt with the changing times, with various websites over the years and various approaches to connecting with clients and leads on social media. Her formal training includes a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Studio Art; an education giving Betsy a unique perspective for running a photography studio as a solo entrepreneur.
